Life Class Day 7

When a person distances themselves from the house of the Father (Kingdom of GOD), they are not only depriving themselves of His love & amazing experiences with Him every day - they are missing out on the opportunity to have a happy life.

What are the 4 opportunities?

1. The opportunity to have an encounter with Him.

2. The opportunity to be reconciled to Him & all who are His.

3. The opportunity for restoration - the return of all that the son had lost.

4. The opportunity for provision - the son was given access to the resources of his Father.

Today is the day of reflection!

You can now decide to receive the 4 opportunities that God i giving you.

Do not allow fear, doubt or the pleasures of this world to paint a new picture full of lies.

Do not accept the idea that a happy life is possible without God.

Jesus wants to give you the best; He died on the cross to give you an abundant life, full of purpose & joy.

It is important that you decide to seek Him with all your heart.

Real men do live for Christ. It is important to make your peace with Christ while the opportunity exists. Life is so fragile that you never know when it's going to be over. It could be in the blink of an eye, & then it's too late to accept God's gift of salvation.
-Chuck Norris

Jesus has changed the lives of millions of people, giving them purpose, destiny & joy.

This experience is incomparable to even the happiest moment of your life up until this point.

Determine to seek God with all your strength & He will transform all you circumstances.

I noticed that so many changes happened in my life this week. God began to bring order & direction to the chaos & mess in my life. I am beginning to grow deeper in the Lord.

I want to experience all 4 opportunities more fully in my life now.

Lord, thank You for giving me these opportunity to reconcile with You. I pray to You Lord that I want to experience an encounter with You, to reconcile with You, to have a complete restoration & to receive Your abundant provision; & I pray that they will make happen in my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
REMEMBER:
JESUS IS GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE AN ENCOUNTER WITH HIM, TO BE RECONCILED TO HIM, TO EXPERIENCE COMPLETE RESTORATION & TO RECEIVE HIS ABUNDANT PROVISION.

Life Class Day 6

We have been speaking about the amazing opportunity we have to make a u-turn in our lives.

An encounter with Jesus is the most wonderful opportunity a person can have.

This Jesus of Nazareth, without money & arms, conquered more millions than Alexander, Caesar, Mohammed & Napoleon; without science & learning, He shed more light on things human & divine than all philosophers & scholars combined; without the eloquence of schools, He spoke such words of life as were never spoken before or since, & produced effects which lie beyond the reach of any orator or poet; without writing a single line, He sets more pens in motion, & furnished themes for more sermons, orations, discussions, learned volumes, works of art & sweet songs of praise, than the whole army of great men of ancient & modern times.
-Philip Schaff

Jesus, who has changed & impacted the lives of millions of people around the world, is now waiting for you to open the door of your heart so that He can take His rightful place in your life.

*Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

The invitation is for everyone who hears this message of hope & faith, which is so real & so different from the messages of countless others who have tried to bring some kind of enlightenment to humanity.

Buddha never claimed to be God. Moses never claimed to be Jehovah. Mohammed never claimed to be Allah. Yet Jesus Christ claimed to be the true & living God. Buddha simply said, "I am a teacher in search of the truth." Jesus said, "I am the Truth". Confucius said, "I never claimed to be holy." Jesus said, "Who convicts Me of sins?" Mohammed said, "Unless God throws His cloak of mercy over me, I have no hope." Jesus said, "Unless you believe in Me, you will die in your sins."
-Unknown

*John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

*John 8:46
Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me?

*John 8:24
"I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins."

Do not let another day pass by. Take some time now to pray to God & express the desire of your heart to have an encounter with Jesus Christ like never before.

If you have never prayed a prayer of faith before, do not worry - it is very simple.

*Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

The most important thing is that you believe. As faith is awakened in you, you will be able to take the 2nd step - confessing with your mouth what you already believed in your heart.

*1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

If you believe in these 3 events with all your heart: that Christ died for your sins, that He was buried & that He was raised to life on the 3rd day, then you can say this prayer & open the door of your heart to allow Jesus to come into your life so that you can know Him.

Lord Jesus, today I recognize that I am a sinner & I recognize that I need You. I believe with all your heart that You gave Your life for my sins, that You received the punishment that should have been mine, that You were buried, that You came back to life & that You now live forever. Forgive my sins & wash me with Your precious blood. Today I accept You as my Lord & personal Savior. Write my name in the Book of Life & never blot it out. In Your name I pray, Amen.

REMEMBER:
THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN COMPARE TO KNOWING JESUS

Life Class Day 5

*Luke 15:23-24
Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate.

1 distinctive aspect of God, as He is revealed in the Bible, is His abundance. God is not poor. He is not stingy. He is not limited. He is a God of abundance. His grace is abundant. His love is abundant. His provision is abundant. The consequence of sin, ultimately, is misery, poverty & destitution. There is no abundance in a life of sin. But God does not leave us. He offers both pardon & provision.
-Derek Prince

God offers us the opportunity to be reconciled to Him, to recover what has been lost & to receive the provision we need.

Jehovah Jireh - God will provide

*Genesis 22:1-19
Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!" "Here I am," he replied. Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you." Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. He said to his servants, "Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you." Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, "Father?" "Yes, my son?" Abraham replied. "The fire and wood are here," Isaac said, "but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?" Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." And the two of them went on together. When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven, "Abraham! Abraham!" "Here I am," he replied. "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided." The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, "I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me." Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set off together for Beersheba. And Abraham stayed in Beersheba.

God opened Abraham's eyes in a supernatural way so that he could experience the revelation of the cross.

*John 8:56
"Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad."

The patriarch understood that all of God's provision for man was to be found in the Son that the Lord would offer for the redemption of the world.

The prodigal son received all of the father's blessings - including the fattened calf (Christ crucified).

God gave the best anyone could have given; He did not bring just any kind of offering, He gave the best.

*John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The opportunity to experience an extraordinary life with Jesus is yours.

Simply make the decision with all your heart to keep that appointment, even though you may have been canceling or postponing it for a long time.

Now is the time!

When you have had that marvelous encounter with Jesus, tell others about the blessings that are ours because of His sacrifice on the cross.

God gives to us the best offering through His only Son, Jesus Christ.

*Haggai 2:8
'The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the Lord Almighty.

*2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

*Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

The provision of God is boundless & unlimited. All the things in earth belongs to God, so we have the honor & privilege to ask anything to God in the name of Jesus. God is able to bless us abundantly so that in all things & having all we need, we will abound in every good work; & He will meet all our needs according to His riches.

REMEMBER:
ALL OF GOD'S PROVISION IS FOUND IN JESUS, WHO OFFERED HIMSELF FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THE WORLD.

Life Class Day 4

*Luke 15:22
"But the father said to his servants, 'Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.'"

Our wardrobe - reflects our personality, our profession, our internal/external condition, or even how we feel on a certain day.

What I found through clothing is that when you put on the right dress or you put on the right pair of glasses or suit, it can really make you remember what is beautiful about life.
-Rachel Roy

We all also have spiritual clothes that give beauty to who we are & reflect our spiritual condition.

The young man's father told his servants to replace his son's clothes with fine garments. This represents what the Lord does for every person who decides to restore their relationship with their heavenly Father.

The young man's filthy clothes - symbolizes how we have misused the precious life God has given us - permitting sin in our hearts has soiled our spiritual clothes & left us with many physical & emotional wounds.

*Zechariah 3:3-4
Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. The angel said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy clothes." Then he said to Joshua, "See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you."

Rags - represented the past, sinful life

The love of God is so great that He removes our old clothes (our nature contaminated w/ sins), & He clothes us in fine splendid garments (righteousness).

*2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

One of Job's greatest desires was deliverance from his own sins.

*Job 7:21
"Why do you not pardon my offenses and forgive my sins? For I will soon lie down in the dust; you will search for me, but I will be no more."

*Job 9:2
"Indeed, I know that this is true. But how can mere mortals prove their innocence before God?"

*Psalm 49:7-8
No one can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for them— the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough.

Despite our best efforts & good intentions, the stain of sin runs deep & we cannot remove it ourselves - only God can.

*Psalm 103:12-13
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.

*Isaiah 52:3
For this is what the Lord says: "You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed."

Jesus paid the highest price that could ever be paid.

Every area of the young man's life was transformed: he was restored to his position as a son, his clothes were changed & a ring was put on his fingers (restoration of authority).

REMEMBER:
THE LOVE OF GOD RESTORES ME IN EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE.
